The 1970’s – Maturation
The decade opened up with a McNair Cup in 1970, and after a few years of UNB dominance, the Loyalists rattled off Provincial Championships in 75, 76 and 77. UNB again won in 78, but the Loyalists were back in 1979 to end the decade on top.
