Fall Mini-Rugby for 2012 will start on Saturday September 8th at 10am.  Pre-registration will start at 9:45. 

Mini-Rugby is open to boys and girls in two age groups; 7-10 and 11-14. Cost for the program is $30.  The price includes a mini-rugby shirt and healthy snacks every Saturday. Suggested attire is shorts and a t-shirt, with cold or wet weather gear available for those cold fall mornings.  Rugby or soccer cleats are optional but sneakers will suffice.  

If any parents are interested in coaching we can schedule a short coaching seminar to provide the basics.

History

The Loyalists started Mini Rugby in Fredericton in 1980 - when the senior players, having returned from a tourto the UK saw kids playing the sport they held so near and dear to their hearts. They decided that they should get their kids to play as well, so on a fateful freezing Saturday morning that September - Mini Rugby came to Fredericton.

This Saturday morning tradition which culminated in Mini Sips (If it was hot) Hot Chocolate (if it was cold) and Mrs. Dunsters Donuts - continued on eversince.
